About the Creator
Brazilian designer and artist Antonio Azzolino blurs the line between object and fiction, merging nostalgic pop culture with speculative design. His latest creation, the WAFFLE, channels the playful energy of early 2000s cereal commercials and reimagines footwear through a surreal, food-inspired lens. At the heart of the design is a tribute to innovation itself — echoing the iconic moment when a waffle iron sparked a revolution in sneaker design. Azzolino’s work is a reflection of joyful absurdity and futuristic craftsmanship.
